Information

This section tells you all you need to know before you book a sauna session with us.

What to Bring & Wear

Please bring a towel to sit on in the sauna for hygiene, and another towel to dry off between cold dips. You may also want a dry robe or extra towel to wrap around yourself during cool-down periods, as well as warm clothes to change into afterward. Water shoes or slides are essential for walking across the stones, and if you plan to dip in the Loch, we recommend water shoes and gloves for extra insulation, as the water is very cold. Avoid wearing slides in the water—they can be slippery and pose a fall risk. Swimwear or sportswear is required at all times.

Please avoid wearing jewelry in the sauna, and check for metal details on swimwear, as metal can heat up and burn your skin. Storage is available in the benches (shared, so please keep belongings minimal) and on hooks both inside and outside the sauna for towels and jackets.

Arriving & Session Etiquette

Arrive 5–10 minutes early to get settled. If you are late, you can still enjoy your session, but it will be shorter as sessions run on schedule to allow time for cleaning between groups.

You are welcome to pour water on the sauna stones, but be mindful: one or two ladles every 15 minutes is enough, ensure the stones appear dry before adding water, and always check with fellow sauna users before doing so. Avoid touching the sauna stove or stones directly, and do not load wood into the fire—this is the responsibility of the sauna host. If the temperature drops, ask the host to adjust it.

The external door remains open to help regulate oxygen levels, enhancing the sauna experience. When entering or exiting, be careful not to leave the glass door open for too long, as this can let cold air in and affect the environment.

Please exit the Sauna for the final 5 minutes of your session. This allows our host to clean between guests, and this is the perfect time for you to relax and enjoy your complimentary refreshments.

Hosted by our Sauna Master, Justine, these immersive sessions combine music, aromatherapy, and the rhythmic movement of heat and steam with elements of nature like plant whisks and salt scrubs.
